SUPERCAR NEDHEAD BN7S “WEAPONS SERIES” Cylinder Head Systems are specially designed by Ned Erkman to boost the performance potential of high powered Supercharger engines that require higher flowing exhaust ports to discharge the large volumes of forced inducted air and fuel that combust in the cylinder.

The BN7S WEAPONS SERIES cylinder heads come armed with the biggest diameter 1.650 exhaust valves and 2.25 diameter intake valves, making these technologically innovative cylinder heads the first LS cylinder heads specifically developed for extreme power supercharged engines.

The higher flowing intake and exhaust ports can help to lower boost pressure and increase supercharger power. Since pressure is a measure of resistance, the more efficient cylinder head flow rates, that help to reduce boost pressure, make more efficient power by reducing the energy required to operate the supercharger. The reduced friction associated with the operation of the supercharger also helps to lower intake air temperature and develop more power.

NEDHEAD BN7S PRODUCT SPECS

BN7S super modified LS7 style cylinder head, specially designed by Ned Erkman, for extreme power supercharged engine applications. Incorporates the largest LS engine exhaust valve size of 1.650” diameter which promotes high exhaust flow rates required for high power supercharged engines. Technologically advanced with relocated 2.25” intake and 1.65” exhaust valves that use the production LS7 engine rocker arms. The biggest valve diameters for high flow rates. Big Power Superchargers require High Flow Exhaust Ports .

The intake valve flow rate exceeds 410 CFM and Exhaust port flow exceeds 290 CFM which represents a 70% intake to exhaust port flow relationship. The BN7S is made in the USA with Virgin A356 Aluminum alloy, which has excellent cylinder head casting characteristics that include higher structural strength and resistance to hot cracking. These high quality features make the BN7S heads great for big power supercharged applications capable of handling over 2000 horsepower.

BN7S cylinder heads have a new intake port design, with larger 2.25 diameter intake valves, developed for high volume intake port flow rates with boost pressure.

To achieve maximum supercharged performance potential, the engine must have good, unrestricted airflow through the complete air intake system. The engine also requires the right camshaft profile and compression ratio to maximize the power potential of the intake airflow. Maximum power potential of supercharged engines determined by Supercharger size, efficiency and flow capacity.

NEDHEAD BN7S Weapons Series Supercharger Systems are developed with custom designed roots supercharger or centrifugal supercharger camshaft profiles and the best compression ratios that optimize engine performance for the specific supercharger application.

BN7S Cylinder heads have the biggest 1.650 exhaust valves and the potential to flow over 290 CFM through the exhaust port, with a great 2-inch primary tube header pipe.

Technically, exhaust port flow should be at least 70% of intake port airflow, for supercharged engines with higher intake port flow rates from boost pressure.

To optimize the efficiency of engine exhaust flow, the complete exhaust system must be unrestricted with the best exhaust system for the power level desired. The engine also requires the right custom designed camshaft profile with the best exhaust valve lift and duration for the specific supercharged engine application.
